Set of 4 Vienna Bentwood Carvers by J&J Kohn Company. Original paper labels. The J&J Kohn Co. started to make their own bentwood furniture after 1869, when Thornet's patent expired. Circa 1870 Austria.
I don't think the existing padded seats are original; I believe they may have had cane seats. The chairs are very sturdy and will be sold as a set of 4....they will not be split.
